Fee Schedule for Lenders
Appraisal Fees are a function of time and expense. Larger houses usually take longer to appraise than smaller ones. Complex properties, where comparables are fewer and far between, take longer to appraise than tract homes located in communities with large subdivisions of conforming homes. Lender appraisal reports completed using Fannie Mae forms.
Fees for full appraisals using Fannie Mae form 1004 start at $350.
Fees for exterior "drive-by" appraisals using Fannie Mae form 2055 start at $300.
Fees for duplex appraisals and oceanfront properties start at $550.
Fees for triplex/quadruplex appraisals start at $650.
